Replace Stereo - Remove Center Facade?

Hi, I recently bought a '98 Avensis, and I'd like to replace the standard tape deck that's sitting in the centre console.

I've replaced stereos in cars before, but I can't see how to remove the facade on the centre instrument column. I'm assuming that once I get the column off, the unit will be accessible.

Can anyone suggest how to get the panel off? Are there clips hidden anywhere? and how do I get to them?

the panel around the radio/heater controls just pulls off pullit from the bottom give a tug

pull it from the bottom where it meets the ashtray and work your way up, dont worry i think its spring clips that hold it in place so you shouldnt brake it.
