The concept car is the TTE Street Affair, A showpiece to promote TTE around the world as a serious tuner, and show off its links with Toyota F1, hence the nose. Its a few years old now, but still turns heads. It was on the MR2 Roadster Owners Club stand at JAE, alongside the TTE Turbo Mk3 demonstrator.

The car in spy pics isn't even a revision 2 Mk3, its got the original 2000 lights and bumper at the front, and elements of several aftermarket bodykits. Its probably just an engine test mule.

And as for you lot who think the mk3 is crap.... Ever driven one in anger? Trust me, until you have you've no idea what your talking about. In terms of driver involvment and sheer capability on the road, its a world ahead of the mk2. It'll run rings around any stock mk2 through the corners, and only the mk2 turbo's are coming past it in a straight line, it may not have an awful lot of power, but its not carrying a lot of weight either, so all that power is being put to good use. If of course you want more, then its pretty cheap to get some useful increases, and a 2ZZ-GE swap (the corolla/celice VVT-Li engine) can be done inside of a day if you know what your doing. 200bhp per tonne with utter reliability? Cant see many of you turning your noses up at that!
