Can anyone tell me if the electric window switches should be illuminated when the lights are on and should the cigarette lighter/12 power supply be illuminated.

Also should the brake lights work without the ignition on? (coz mine do)

All these questions.....just needing answers to help me get better aquainted with my T3 :)

Thanks for all of the replies.

I also am not a smoker, but find the cig lighter socket useful as a 12volt power supply for mobile charger/ sat nav etc.

Why would the brake lights work without the ignition? That’s a new one on me!

The ‘Auto’ lights up on the electric window switch.

Ref the cigarette lighter I will have to check.

Being towed. Failure while you're still on the road.

wouldnt you still have the ignition on to make the power steering work while being towed?

Power steering doesn't work without a running engine.
