i'm looking at buying an air filter, would a filter fit both rev2 and rev3???

The filters are the same between the revisions however the part from the bottom of the box on-wards is different......better designed one from type III upwards :)

AFAIA they re-designed the bottom end to make it more free flowing :)

Type III's don't have an AFM (Air Flow Meter). That's the big alloy box before the air filter. Better flowing system.
