Looking for a 1970's Toyota Celica 1600 GT TA22 or TA23 Twincam Model (2TG 18RG) restoration project or MOT failure.

Would prefer complete original car over modded/rebuilt. 1972 REG would be even better as Tax Exempt in the UK.

I know its unlikely but worth a try........

Thanks

The best looking generation of Toyota ever in my opinion. My favorite is the 1977 Fastback Celica ...the Mini Mustang look-a-Like.

Hi Joe

Max may have given you my details, I have a 1977 mini mustang RA28 GT that I may be selling. I'm in South West Wales however, may be a bit far for you.

Needs a couple of small welds to the sills or I have brand new Toyota sills to go on if you are handy. Needs paint and the drivers seat upholstery is in need of repair. Otherwise the car is complete, I have put in a lot of hours on the car but I now have my house on the market and need to clear the garage.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks

Nigel

You got mail !! The car was actually registered in 1978 on an S plate, so probably one of the last made. Had 3 former keepers.

I have a 1971 K plate flat light ST with 1.6 twin cam fitted. original dog tooth vinyl interior, recently resprayed, has black vinyl roof and tilt glass sunroof. It sits on GT steels with 185/70/13 tyres, all of the chrome trims are present. Nearly ready for MOT, have replaced all brake system, fuel pipes, the engine has been rebuilt and there is absolutely no rust in the rear quarters (replaced by previous owners) had new skins and boot lid and one new wing.It has had lots of welding in its 30 plus years but is structurally sound and has been undersealed and waxoiled by me as part of the resto. looking for around £4k with MOT if any body interested phone on 0793 201 4704.
