when getting up to some speed, about 80, there seems to be noise coming from near my glove box kinda area.

anyone know what that could be?

and when doin 80, no other speeds my steering wheels tends to vibrate, is this jus cause the wheels need balancing??

Either wheel balance or a bush wearing somewhere. As for the rattle probably something loose in the trim department.

most mr2s have creaking gloveboxes mate, only solution i found was to put something heavy in it!

wobbling at 80 is also common unfortunately, get an alignment if you want though, it cant do any harm!

Get a passenger to have a listen for the rattle.

Problem with the MR2's cabin is you can hear a noise coming from some where and on closer inspection it's from the opposite side

First I've heard of noisy gloveboxes.

Often the heatshield will rattle and it sounds like it's coming from inside the car.

T-Bar panels (or the guide rods) can develope rattles too.

I have the same glovebox rattle at speed! When you open the glovebox and drive along it still happens so must be somehting behind it. Very good idea above-put something heavy in it!
