Thinking of going with the TRD widebodykit early next year. Curious as to what you guys think about it. Should I ? ... Or stick with the current kit ?

NO!

1. your car looks great

2. can you justify throwing 5k at it to make it look different

3. spend the money on getting more power

4. if you really must, sell yours and start from scratch. it will be better that way. just remove the bits you want to keep from your car first.

5. i'll let you have a look at my trd.... if i ever get it and that ought to fill your hunger :D

:P

I say NO thanks for asking.

your car looks class.. the TRD option is a waste of money IMO, why destroy something that looks so good.

I would have to say yes and no.

Yes - because it's the best kit for the '2 available

No - because my next '2 wants to arive with one already fitted. And I wanted to be one of very few in the country with the kit. and if too many of us get the kit it will make it too comon like the ugly veilside :!Removed!:

Jokes aside - GO FOR IT!

Jim,

Your car is a class apart mate. Don't go ruining it by sticking a wide body kit on it and knackering it's lines.

That's a big no from me

I like the TRD kit, but is it worth pulling that car apart to put one one????

Looks good. The in-dent after the front wings, where the kit joins onto the doors, makes the car look similar to a Viper.

But then you may as well just buy a Viper if your going to spend that much on a bodykit.

Impressive, absoloutely. The same can be said for the price tag, however.

now that looks nice

Jim you are your own person do what you feel. lol

I couldnt justify the price, but as I put mine on the track alot, any kind of bodykit would be wasted on me :D

Stu, I'm not speculating which is the better car to drive.

Look at the money he's poured into the mr2, i dont think it'd be a bad thing for him to have a new project.

NO, your car is the best looking 2 i have seen to be honest (bar the red paint, white or blues the way forward) :P , all the body mods are subtle, tasteful, just enhance the car, it would be a real shame to pull it apart.

I do love the TRD kit mind..

No good that Roytoner - they've taken all the guns off

Yes but..

Though its speed from 0-60 is not phenomenal, it'll get you to 16,400 feet in under five minutes
