HKS Iridium. Expensive, but well worth it.

HKS Iridium's? Rnt they like 25 quid each or smfing silly like that? They the last a million years between changes aren't they? Is that the only advantage to them or they give a bit more power over normal copper cored plugs?

Posted

they provide better resistance to the extreme heat found in turbo engines. never skimp on plugs £100 worth of plugs is better than £2500-£3000 engine rebuilds.

if a plug melts down then the engine will ' detonate' and its this that kills the engine.

Iridium all the way for me

Mines an NA neway, so highly unlikely that my engine will blow up(touch wood). Whats recommended for NA's then? Or just normal NGK's ok?

The least I would go for is platinum tips.

I got them from Fensport. 1 grade colder than stock to handle higher boost etc.

Thems the boys

But mines an NA!!! Whats recommended for NA's then? Or are just normal copper cored plugs sufficient? No use spending like 100 quid on aset of plugs that don't do anything.

Toyota platinum plugs for me, works fine here and that's what my mechanic recommended
