Maximum Sized Wheels

weighing up a new set of alloys, and a general question.

whats the maximum sizes for a 1991 gtr import,

the problem i have is the active suspension on it,

cos it lowers at 60mph, and lowers again, as you get faster ( think its compensating the speed or something ).

anyone know for sure, as i want to avoid sticking a nice set on then having my arches ripped to pieces,..

any feedback, opinions or ideas welcomed.

i got a wheel size book at work it says 7.5x17 no mods

Taff, I know of a couple of people fitting 18" rims to a gen 5 and having no probs whatsoever- only trouble is I dont know if they would on yours cos of your fancy suspension- sounds like quite a bit of kit matey :D

if ya go onto www,rimstock.co.uk they have a size chart that will tell you i know ya can put 18 on but i thought ya had to do something ill have a look but try website it will tell ya

18's will be fine as long as you keep your tyres down to a minimum like say 35's or 40's
