As Steve said try parkers. To be honest tho, most idiots up your ***** are driving slow cars anyway - like 1.2 rude nova's. The only ones that can be hard to judge are business men ragging it in their audi's and beemers.

im selling my ts soon but in the couple of years ive owned it i found it was a lot quicker than people expected, three people who i often drove places with who all have mk1 mr2's only just get infront through the first few gears, the ts seemed to pick up speed in gear better than most similar hatches, and if you had a safe legal place to do it the top speed of 118mph is a tad off. most cars which try to race you will be stuff like xr2/3i's which dont have much chance against the ts. the standard handling is a bit sloppy though.

Dunno about Ts, but my SR has given a couple of things a run for their money, mainly becaue once the vvti engine hits 3500rpm in second, it decides to fly! I defeated a 1.8 rover 200 and he was a right chav, straining his car! Erm, cant really think of other episodes, but i mainly get problems with aggressive people carrier drivers! When im doing the limit, iv had them biting my bumper and flashing me when they then try burning past as speed increases or we hit dual-carriageway and i simply accelerate to the speed. Its quite irritating!

What year was the Rover 200 1.8? My mate has an R-reg 1.8Vi Rover 200 and that hits 60 as standard in 7.5secs - so I doubt you would have beat it.

FYI

There is a Clio II 1.5D dCi 2001-2004

65-80 BHP (3 types)

you'll probably 'have off' things like saxo vtr's, punto's, etc

just do your homework and you'll know the bhp and weight of the average boyracer mobile and then decide whether to give him a tonking or not.

btw, a 130PD TDI ibiza would annhialate you :P

(dont mock the diesel :D )

All depends how the car is driven

The 0-60

The weight

The torque

The BHP

I guess it can be nice to know, but whats the point? Cant use the power much anyway. Only on dual carrageways. Nice to know you have the power their thou as and when needed.
