Swissol is a company that's been developing exclusive wax's for years. It's based in Switzerland and supply's waxes and cleaners for a lot of major car company's. A certain kit is supplied with every Rolls Royce Silver Phantom purchased!

I don't work for them, only just purchased some, but here's the link...

Paul, the guy you delivered it to, said there was a courier outside with a Thunder Grey T-Sport outside, which was strange because i have only just got one and was telling Paul about it. I was the guy who bought the wax.

If Meguiars is good enough to be sold co branded in merc dealers and also have the surface car bit in the merc manual written by the head meguiar's guy, it's good enough for me. You tried the NXT range yet? not sure if you guys have it over ther but it's class stuff.

Also thier ultimate wipe microfibre cloth is also far better than anything else I have tried.

i agree... yeh iv tried the nxt generation... is gud... a bit like autoglym gold if ya like... final coat stuff. yeh i like the towel... it just soaks all the water up but never really gets wet through. Iv got their cleaner wax too, which you are supposed to use before gold class and then the nxt gen stuff. marvelous but very time consuming! (but worth it!)

SWISSOL RULES!!!!

Just thought i'd put that in there! Amazing stuff, but it was getting a bit too dark to see the shine proerly in a digy photo, but that's not the main thing.....it's the smoothness! It feels stunnin to touch, which in my book, is a BIG thing! Some peeps, may not care for that, but tell's you of a good shine! You have to see/feel it to believe it.

detailing clay is an excellent way to return that smoothness before things get to the stage of needing a machine polish. Meguairs and others offer this stuff and it's well worth learning to use if you really care about your finish.

Been through a lot of polishes and wax's m8. I ALWAYS find that there are STILL small particles, especially on the windows, which you can see when taking the polish or wax off. The cleaner fluid which was in the kit i bought, took 90%of that away. Very long process, but if you seen it and felt the paintwork you would be amazed, trust me! I myself, am a panel beater and spray painter and know a good finish when i see it!

meguires and auto glym both feel smooth. i know what you are on about, my dad used to enter the concorse section on the rs days. i might have mis-understood this but you mention windows and you was talking about waxing... you wax the windows? i wax the headlights and tail lights but not the windows! thats just wrong. and yes i run the back of my hand along the paintwork to feel how smooth it is (aren't we sad?! ) but who cares. i tend to throw a duster (getting even sadder now!) over the paintwork and if it falls off the other side, then you know that you've done a good job!! :D and no wonder that wax is special order only, could't imagine Halfords stocking 100 tubs! and who in their right mind would buy that at that price? but i suppose that to super rich people is like us buying something for £10! hehe!

yes mate, you should. well... you dont have to, but it protects it from winter weather and all that nasty salt that they put on the roads. You'll find that the rain will just bead on it. if you've done a good job you will get big beads, if you havnt done such a good job, you'll get small beads. I would recomend that you use it. But then again its up to you! in theory it should prolong the life of your car.

Minnnt.

p.s. how do you put pictures up? Thanks.

(i'm really trying to write properly... :D )
