Can someone give me the low down on these?

What is available - seem to vary hugely in price.

Do they make a big difference or better off without?

Are they easy enough to fit?

Cheers :)

What is available , Look on eBay you can pick them up cheap

they do make a difference, as long as your g/box is o.k. doe's yours go into gear o.k. and they are realy easy to fit . takes longer to take all the bits out to get at it .

if you go onto imoc you can see how to do it..

saying that....

I was left with a few bits once I put it together... lol.

Forgot to put a few bits back. The rubber bit which sits under the white bit ( if that makes sense ), and the clip which keeps the spring bar thing in place to re-centre the gear nob when in neutral.

Will get round to it one day though.... lol.

I made mine myself using my original lever and a small piece of metal about 2" long, drilled 2 holes then mounted it on the original lever were the linkage goes then put the linkage in the other hole.

Thus lifting the linkage making the throw shorter.

Easy peasy!!!!!

I also cut the lever down 1"

Its cut the throw down by about 3" forward and 3" backward.
