Was driving home from my g/f's tonight when I see a 4x4 bomb past someone behind and then he starts driving up my *****. We come to some lights and the lanes go from two into one, I'm in the outside lane and he tries to get round and cut me up so I speed up a bit to stop him going into me. He then puts on all of his front spot lights and blinds me. Anyway, I turn off at the next chance and he keeps following me with his fogs on. I have to really put my foot down to get away from him (not safe on wet roads). I manage to find a pub car park to hide and luckily he carries on past. I couldn't believe what a maniac this bloke was, no way I was gonna try and reason with him. People like this make me so angry  !

You did the right thing to let him/her go. Not worth the risk for these fools.

You have no point to prove to anyone.

Grrr, I had the same thing happen to me in a Fiat Cinquecento Sporting years ago.

Thinking quickly and because of the nature of the incident I drove to the nearest police station like something possessed.

Like a fool he followed me - I later found out he'd just served 3 years for countless ABH & GBH charges!!!

Being followed by some crazy madman at ridiculous speeds taught me a thing or two, never rise to any aggression, give abusive gestures or signals or bad mouth another motorist even if something's totally not your fault.

I know exactly how you felt mate, you never know who exactly is behind the wheel. I count myself fortunate I never saw the guy again and sold the car to a dealer weeks later.

if you were ina car you dodn't care about su m uch, in that situation slam on the anchors, it will either make them bnack off, of make them hit you.

the highway codes says to slow down or stop if you are dazzled by bright lights, and they are automaticly guilty for rearending you.........

not that I'd do it in my toyotas!! (would in the ford lol)

lol blood, your probably right. just cos im young doesnt mean ill race absolute ******* cars like that. i think it was a 1.2 or 1.4, i didnt even have to try to lose them <_< i actually dont have a clue why they always try, its quite funny sometimes but other times you just wish theyre bog off n go play with their 12 year old wifes

my old mk 3 escort diesel was the best for sortin them out, slip it into neutral and rev the **** out of it, couldnt see them for smoke and they soon backed off, just got wrong when i did it to an undercover cop car,but all he could do was give me a producer cos the car had just passed its mot that day(dont know how) and i had the certificate on me!

but its easy to get into situations lie this, i had a tossa in an old m3 right up the back of my old cavalier, i slammed the brakes on and he took BIG offense to this, overtook me, turned the car to block both lanes, then got out and came over to my car, thing is the windows on my car were tinted and he didnt realise that one of my passengers was my brother who looks quite hard(skinhaed, tattoos and the like) and his mate whos 6ft 7(guess who was in the front seat?) needless to say as soon as we stepped out the car he turned quickly, but if it was just me i would have goot the **** kicked out of me.

just as well you drive a fast car dawolf, jealousy can be a terrible thing

you did the a wise thing there dawolf; you never know who's behing the wheel.

It remind's when I was going home from the gym and i was cut up, I gave the driver the finger and exchanged a few words. and thought nothing else of it. untill we got into traffic and the driver got out of his car and ran right up to my door threatening to hit me and call me all the names under the Sun. Anyway it's was a spotty face teenager, and when he saw me in my Gym vest with my thresh out of the gym pumped muscles, he just stopped and looked at me in a daze then said "sorry mate, i was in the wrong" and ran back into his car  lol
