Which Generation Of Rav 4

Not sure how you guys identify the diffrent models of Rav4, the way that seems to work best is by generation number...

Generation 1, ......1994 to 1998

Generation 1 Facelift,........ 01/01/ 1998 to 2000,

Generation 2,......... 01/05/ 2000 to 2003

Generation 2 Facelift..........01/10/ 2003

Errr .....guys help me out ,is the generation 2 facelifted date correct..please :) .
