Was at lights at simonside, 2 lane traffic waiting for green light, little d reg fiesta pulls up in right lane sitting staring at me, i didnt race it but he still insisted on trying to, and pulled ahead. poor sod didnt see t5 come out of scotch estate and was behind him, i caught up just over a mile down a194 where kid was bein escorted into police car but he was crying his eyes out, actually made me feel sorry for him, could lose his licence over a few stupid seconds.

still bit funny to have a car like that try to race an mr2 with an engine twice its size!!!

nb:i didnt race him cos ive been embarresed on that bit before by an astra which turned out to be a turbo

I had a similar one tonight in east london after dropping off my Mk3 for some odd jobs to be done. I had a !Removed! great Avensis Auto for a courtesy car, but the knob behind me in his fiesta (4-up, exhaust the size of the drivers head - you know the sort....) decided to overtake me, and the bus in front of me, over the blind crest of a flyover, in a 30mph limit...

Within seconds the unmarked BMW 5 series estate, full to the gunnels of plainclothes plod, was roaring after him with the blues n' two's on. Scared the hell out of me as he went past! the fiesta got 80 yards, before pulling over, when all the plod jumped out to stop anyone running away... The driver seemed to have rather a surprised expression on his face!

After 2 years of owning my two, I just dont bother with the little scrotes anymore, they think they are the t!ts, you let em ahead and then you boot it a little when they are ragging their little cars and then they know.

Its all stupid really, I just dont bother anymore.

Posted

ive already had my fair share of them and ive only owned the car less than a month!

its fun to let them 'win' and then muller them 500 yards down the road i believe!

did see a comedy Metro VS Freelander off the lights last night though!

i had to keep up as i thought the Freelander driver was gonna get out and rag the bloke out the Metro when he carved him up

You just know its gonna happen when you are sitting at the lights.

i only got my car back yesterday since it was in garage, so more chance of seeing it now! its at the bottom of wenlock road opposite the old peoples home. near newcastle road

im after 2 nice powerful green neons that illuminate the floor when the doors are opened, gonna use feed from light round igition barrel so they stay on a few seconds once the doors been closed! but thats not till i sort out the tunes, only 3 weeks left till i can start it all

Posted

look on t'internet for neons! dont buy crap ones from Halfords

1) theyre way too big! you want a small tube!

2) Halfords, £20 for one  can get one for £8 on eBay or 2 for £15
