take standard one out

place standard grill down on mesh

dont cut directly around it, cut about 2-4 inchs bigger around it

keep old grill in place on mesh and the clips where it attachs to bumper, draw marker in the gap, and then use a sharp knife/scissors to cut the gap out and voila

i did this, was very easy!

when i had the sri grill put onto my corsa sxi they removed the old one trying not to break any clips, but the ones they did break they just melted over the prongs on the new one. if you're having metal, dont have silver... i dont think it looks right, black is best! :D

Got any closeups Breezer?

nope i got rid of mesh because i stupidly bent it over inside bumper, causing the gaps where it fixes to numper to get bigger and therefore a useless bit of mesh! so i got rid!

it was cheap mesh though so that explains it!

if i was in your position! id cut the shape of the mesh about an extra 2/3 inches bigger than the gap its going in, cut little holes in around the edges, put duck tape through and tape onto inside of bumper.

tacky way but would do the job wouldnt it, lol :)

I would have thought cutting it slightly bigger and using something like 'gripfill' not a silicone type sealer as this will be alot stronger and firmer!try also to rough the surface up to give the adhesive something to grip to!

I used an epoxy putty like selleys knead-it on my previous car. it's a two part epoxy which has a consistency of plastecine so its easy to attach the grill onto and is permanent.

Just mix and roll up 4 small balls, apply to each corner of the cut out and press the grill on top of it and youre done
