Tinted Sidelights

I'm thinking of using tint spray on my front sidelights and toblerone indicators to match my black MR2. Just two things I want to know:

1) Is it legal to do coz it will obviously affect the brightness of the lights?

2) How do you remove the sidelights and indicators? I've had a quick look but can't see any screws etc.

Thanks.

on most cars, indicators come out by pushing them towards the front of the car and pulling out at same time!

try that!

i think its illegal but doubt ul get pulled. i havent! and its easier to see on my car as its silver :D

sidelights .. prise the reflector out .. undo the screw and slide out ..

The tobes, leave 'em in place and masking tape up the car - it's what I did ..

Yeah.. tobes only come off by getting under your arch liner and undo the trim bolts that are often rusted and sheer off...

Regarding the law, you wont have probs with the coppers, its the MOT stations.. as long as you find the right one you will be fine!

My old Mini had pure back lights and my place was fine about it but others were a bit ubiky about the brightness.
