Stereo Decoding

My recently purchased Previa has a factory fir stereo, but I don't know the security code. The previous registered owner has not replied to my letter requesting it, so I am stuck. I don't want to have to pay £15 for a decode, so is there any way Toyota GB would have this info, given the reg number/chassis number? the previous owner has just texted me the code, so it works now! The only problem now is the passenger door speaker needs replacing, so can anyone help me out with that?
