Gt Performance

Hi

Got myself a 1999 celica GT and lookin at some performance mods. Im not lookin at the very expensive stuff, just parts like the exhaust and the induction kit.

Anyone know which induction kit is best for this car???? Ive been lookin at the BMC CDA and was also looking for a pipercross one,,, but had no luck, i think they only do it for the GT4...?

any reccomendations??

the bmc would be a good choice as its enclosed and has a decent cold air feed,

i have a thing against induction kits on the celica as cold air is an issue im gonna move my Battery into boot and remove a highbeam lamp eventually to get iair in in th emeantime i have an Blitz sus panel filter it cost me about £30 from fensport and gives me a bit of extra power.

It is also worth while to get the car decat u get a nticiable imporvement for little cost

exhaust wise i like sustom but thats just me

Yeah, i noticed people were talking about cold air being a problem. i dont like the sound of moving the Battery to he boot though :unsure:

I wonder if i could fit the BMC CDA in there without moving the Battery and get the air inlet pipe right down to the vent in the front bumper?? ;) :blink:

Also how much is the decat (fitted)

ithink u can fit a bmc i was looking at one take it to a stockist and ask them to measure it up for u. i got my car decat and new carbonfibre backbox for £190 but my car is now covered in company decals etc. apparently u can buy a decat pipe for bout £70 some other members who arnt as big fans of air saws and welders as me will be able to help u wiv that

movin th ebattery is a small job all u need to do is runb a positive cable alot like amp powef fees cable to back of car and earth the Battery up
