ok, when i rev my car hard into the boost, it cuts out at 5000rpm, if i go slow its fine no probs boost all the way up to the red line, i have a large degree of flashing lights and boxes which i have been to afraid to touch yet, lol, could be the issue, LOL

also my passengers driveshaft is grinding like a MF itdoes not sond good :(, i have parked this up until i can source a driveshaft, any good links??, im in manchester england and its an EP28 turbo starlet ,

thanks for any help you can give me only had it 3 days :(, cant even get the thrill i was ment too out of it for £3700 :(, looks nice on the drive tho :crybaby:

ok co its an EP82 lol, just been out to check, also the boxes are as follows - 1 apexi air flow controller, 1 actuator valve controller, 1 ultra turbo timer, and 1 divr box with kmh on it not sure entirely what thisd one does, HELP :ffs:

Do you have a boost pressure gauge on it? Do you know what it's boosting too?

Will probally be a C.V. joint and i'd go to toyota for that.

I've got some EP91 driveshafts with CV joints in good condition.

it sounds like your wastegate valve or diverter valve has stopped working, ie the pressure in the turbo is getting too high, ecu senses a problem and then kills your engine. it might be something like spraying the valve with wd40, if its been on a boat for 6 weeks then it might have just fannyed up.

as for the cv joint. I would try and source new ones as anything that gets put under that much torsion will invariably deform unless its really new.
