New Air Filter

just brought a new air filter. i've had a look at the existing air box that i gota take out, but not sure how far back i've gota take it?

there are some electrical connections aswel, but no where to fit these on my new filter.

help please.

what have you bought?

If it's a cone filter .. take the airbox out and connect the intake to the end of the AFM .. you should have a fitting kit.

if it's a pannel filter, crack open the airbox and replace ..

it's cone, but if i put it where the air box was i think it's not gona fit (be hitting the chasy)

well it'll have to .. it is a generic cone filter, or is it a kit specific for the MR2 ?

it's one for an mr2 turbo or celica gt4

so take out the airbox, bolt on the fittings and then the cone and angle the whole lot to the intake on the side of the car ..
