When im looking at purchasing JDM parts for my '86, i quite often come across the wording:

kouki = early.

zenki = late.

basically they mean before and after the model update.

Cheers, Yves.

Uhh no. Its the opposite.

Zenki means early spec, or early model.

Chuki means a middle revision or middle model.

Kouki means late spec or late model.

Its not car specific, ie just AE86, all cars will use this wording in Japan.
