Power Window And Lock Failure

My 1990 Camry's power windows and locks just stopped working after 325000k. For awhile before the drivers side controls would not work when the door was open but would work when it was closed. Now it does not work at all as well as all the other controls on all doors. Any ideas.

sounds like the wiring loom through the a pillar and into the door has been damaged by years of opening and closing the door, take the door panel off an disconnect the wires then run the wires back into a straight line and put a tester on each of the pins and see if any of them are damaged.

replace the wires as necessary.

Also check for good ground connections. Sometimes the connections can become rusty or corroded.
