Hi dudes,

Was looking at a toyota celica 1991 model the other day. Have you noticed just how much the rear light cluster looks similar to the paseo`s?? Wonder if you could transplant them???

Any idea`s?????????

i think the Camry one's would look better. B)

You can transplant them if you have enough money and can find someone to do it, or if you have the skills to have a go yourself.

meh, i dont think transplanting is good, u lose the card identity :crybaby:

why not be the first to do custom paseo lights :afro: i know of some guys in america that have made "afterburner" style lights for the paseo's (but they have the gen 1, in england we have the gen 2)

We have a few UK Gen1 owners on here.

Just spray the standard lights, that's what I did. Check out the pics in the garage.

yeah, i think spray tinting the lights would look good, but i suppose it depends on just how different you wanna be!!

in this whole modifying circle it pays to be different!!!

Mental modding dude!!!!

How did you get it looking like that? With adhesive stripsthen spray over the lights? :P

No it is purely 3mm silver pinstripe lines (avaliable from Halfords and all good stores).

Take the cluster off clean it up, and then using the lines on the cluster just apply the lines.

It take an age and in total you'll need about 20-30mtrs from memory. It looks nuts when you follow the car in the day as it looks really silver and seemless.

I haven't been given any problems from the cops yet either although thats not saying they wont!

As far as i can see it is perfectly legal as the lights are visable and the reflectors are too (just not as much).

Hope this helps and it's a top mod for less that £10!!!

Have fun.
