im lookin to set my glanza up to run 1 bar i know i need a FCD in order to do this, but what i really need to know is if the engine internals and the standard turbo is up to the task at hand?

is there anyone out there runnin some high boost through there ep91 engine and what have they had to do to get it?

many thanks james

Mine runs .95bar mate. It seems to cope well. I have been told by Dastek that it runs lean further up the revs. I am gonna get a FCD to see if it stops it :) I believe the standard ct9 turbo handles 15psi which is about a bar

what sort of power dose yours kick out at .95 bar mate? my fulein should be spot on as ive just had a pressure regulator fitted and set up at the weekend, mine was runnin standard boost at 137bhp now its runnin 142bhp still on standard boost,

what have you used to wind it up a bleed valve or electronic boost controller i have been lookin at the AVC-R, profec B spec 2 and the blitz one, but the lads at pro tune dont think ill need one of them.

the internals can take a beating.

booost was running well over 20 psi with standard internals, you need to get the fueling down right, then your away.

youill defo need a fmic to run that though.

My boost is controlled by the Blitz DSBC. I have a RX7 Intercooler as my TMI and I am looking around for a Front Mounted one. Currently I have 167bhp at the fly with HKS Filter and HKS Cat back system. Gonna be taking the Cat out soon. But I am also gonna get my fuel sorted, in the end im hoping to run around 190-200bhp :thumbsup:

All an FCD does is remove the fuel cut thats all you will run very lean after that you need to sort this with a RRFPR or aftermarket fuel controller/ECU
