I have some REALLY BAD NEWS, Last week there was a fire in bury st edmunds. It turns out that it was the factory which produces Branston Pickle (2 million a month!) was burnt down!

Superstores are all sold out of it! Every time they got some more stock it went straight away. :-(

:!Removed!: And apparently bury is the only place you can make it! Some of the special ingredients are hand made :-o

But you can buy it on eBay Ebay item

It's a crazy world!! Someone bought 25 jugs in a panic (it's was an old farmers boy)

The company doesn't know what they are going to do

You have been warn if you like your cheese and pickle sandwich's Watch Out :(

This isn't a wind-up either

it's mank anyway......I won't miss it

it just takes up valuable shelf space in shops that could be used for much more exciting products....Can't have too many Chomps surely!

ROFLMAO

As if Nestlé would stop making Branston. And if they did I think I would hear about it as my sis works in the supply chain area.

Oh, now if you read that BBC report and re-read your first post it is not anywhere near as bad as it was sounding.

Certainly not going out of production. Companies have big fires all the time. One of the big bakers had arson attacks on two of their factories recently but they slaved through and they are back on their feet again.
