Gotta feel for the guy... :help: :!Removed!:

Quote form the US based MR2 site...

My MKII burnt to the ground today... Pics inside

Today was one of the most ____ed up days ive ever had...

Me and a friend were on the highway when i noticed my neck/back getting hot. So i glance in the rearview and all i see is flames. I quickly turn the car off and cut across to get off to the side of the highway... We got out of the car and ran away from it..

My friend quickly called 911 and we had nothing to attempt to stop the flames. We had to just sit and wait for the fire department. Theres nothing like the feeling of standing there watching your car just burn down to nothing. Its like nothing ive ever even imagined in my wildest dreams.. It really hasnt even set in yet, but my friend had a camera and snapped some pics after the fire department put everything out

at least he noticed the flames and they both got out without any injury or worse. Cars can be replaced.

BUT gotta feel for the guy, I'd be gutted if it happened to my car

Maybe it's time to get a fire extinguisher. This is bad :(. However, looking at the pictures, there is a lot he can salvage from the car, the wheels and tyres look ok, the wheels certainly, the rear and front lights are alright. The engine management unit is probably toast, but might have survived, just..... He needs to get a cheap replacement and transfer his surviving bits.

I dont why your feeling sorry for him?

After all the only reason it turned into a expensive camp fire was becuase he neglected it in the first place.
