Midship Runabout 2 seater.

100% accurate.. guaranteed.  B)

He is right:

Toyota originally explained the name "MR2" as meaning "Mid engined, Runabout, 2 seater" however, they now claim (and most owners prefer) the explanation of "Mid engine, Rear drive, 2 seater." The MR2 is actually known by a different name in France. Rather than the MR2, it is known as the "Coupe MR," because "MR2" in French sounds a lot like "merdeux," which means "****ty.

Gotta remember the car was named by the Japanese! An any type of english is supposed to be very cool.

Look how well they've mastered the english language...

They also have a performance exhaust and dump valve maker called 'Sheepdog'!

Haha ... actually in France the mr2 is marketed under the name "Toyota MR" and always has been right from the mk1 onwards due to the name sounding too similar to the French word for shehat.

What we are looking at is the only luggage space for the Mk3 and it looks like an airlock on a space ship!

Oh please, find out your facts first. There is further space in the cubbies behind the seats. Loads of room for a DIRTY weekend. I say DIRTY because you can only take a few things! :D

Seriously though, as all Roadster owners will attest, there IS plenty of room. My wife and I regularly have weekends away and manage to fit in three bags, two pairs of boots, shoes, coats, steering wheel lock, beer, wine. Basically everything you need for a weekend away. Never been a problem. Any anyway, I didn't buy the car for it's load-carrying capabilities. That's what the C-Max is for.
