Serious?

Hi to all, anyone got any idea on how serious my problem might be.

I have a 1990 Camry V6 Auto, very low mileage. Just noticed the front wheels are scrabbling and vibrating when I turn sharp left and accelerate at the same time; doesn't happen on right bends.

Garage have checked it out and reckon all external bits are OK. They reckon it could be a problem with the differential i.e, the gear wheels going at different speeds in the diff. They're not sure what could be causing it without stripping down the box! Means nothing to me.

Anyone heard of this problem, sounds like it could be terminal as the car isn't worth that much.

Regards

Chris
