Hello,

I am looking to swap or P/X my car against an MR2 GT TBar revision 3 onwards.

My present car is a Peugeot 306 GTI-6, she is unmarked and well loved, I have maintained her to high standards. My 6 is in gleaming Unmarked China blue.

I recent (2 weeks ago) had the Cam belt & water pump change and also I have had a new clutch cable fitted so no worries on that score for a while, so here is my 6’s details that you have all been waiting for:

** Edited ** - no sales unless a paid member .. ;) Bibbs.

Silver member waiting for my membership to be changed.........

my next door neighbour has one of these, nice car, he's had loads of trouble with his but he has been told by other owners thats rare, i'm sure someone thats afraid of a bit of bad weather over the winter will swap :) Price wise you should get a very good condition 1994 Turbo for that or a 1995/6 normally aspirated.

Do I need to be a Gold member as I have joined......

Dave

Yeah fella, to stop the one post selling wonders (and to generate a bit of revenue to pay for this server) sellers must be paid up members.

Hi midmotorsteve,

Are we talking problems with his MR2 or a GTI-6?? I have only has mine a few months and she's been no problems at all, I have changed the belt and cable just for piece of mind, I am really only selling / P/Xing as I fancy some fun with a rear wheel drive car again and I fancy geting another Toyota as Ive had the Mk3 MR2 a Gen 5 & 6 Celica.

Yeah the gti-6, snapped its casmbelt at 50,000 miles resulting in £3000 repair bill, also had brake problems joined by suspension problems. Like i said though, other owners say he was just very unlucky. Good luck with the swap.
