Clear Indcator Lenses

i have just found some clear indcator lenses in eBay

but the picture shows them fitted to a facelift model and i have a pre-face lift model

will they fit?????

are the indcator on a pre face and face lift models indecators the same shape

What gen do you have?

If its gen 6 then yes as loads of clear indicators are up on eBay for those!

Gen 6 facelift - if you buy them new ones of eBay you simply get a new set of lights with the lense removed.. if you take out oyour own lights and heat them up in the over you can remove the clear lense and then unsceew the small phillips screw which holds the orange lense in. you then push the clear lense back onto the back of the cluster..

for pre-facleift lights there aren;t any known suppliers of clear lights, A few of the Gen 6'rs on www.celica-club.co.uk have done custom jobs (Linda is one name off the top of my head) to have pre-facelifts with clear lenses..

its not fair thay are avaliable for every other car on the road

they only fit 1996 celicas , i have a 1995 and they didnt fit mine.

i called the dealers , no luck there either.

found a guide on how to make you own clear indecators on www.celica-club.co.uk looks fairly straight forward

they look pretty cool if thay are done poperly
