I assume last year everyone got insurance to cover them on the track 

Which companies do insurance for going round the ring as i doubt Elephant will cover me 

The ring is a public toll road subject to German Law, all you need to do is tell your insurance that you are going to Germany via France & Belgium and you are covered mate ;)

Yeah it's true what Ken is saying there, but If anything should go wrong I wouldn't say you where on the Nordschleife track, but 'a road running between Adenau and Nurburg' or 'a mountain road in the Eifel region of Germany'..

which is all true; but worded in your defence. ;)

Lose it at the ring then you will have a laugh with your insurance co But they will all pay out as you are on a public road, btw

I've mentioned that I'm going to the ring with you lot, and it turns out that a few of them were already organising a trip at the same time, I think this is going to turn in to one hell of a trip :group-cuddles:

Not sure Mazdaboy. He just sold hi FTO and got the rx7. He goes by th name of Rich from the Derbys area lol. I think he is posting on the rx7 forums, ill ask him and get back to you on that

It's definately an invasion of jap cars as the German Toyota Club are taking between 150 to 200, also last year the Swiss Club took 30 along with the GT4OC so you can bet some off them will be going back and the MKiv Supra club went as well.

Nah they said if i took it round a track i wouldnt be insured

its classed as german road so technically not a track!

therefore a public highway

therefore you should be insured

That is unless your Insurance company stipulates that Nurburgring invalidates your cover.

just had a word with a mate of mine about the ring first question he asked is "is that the first circuit you would of done" yes it is

he replise dont do ot ull kill urself wich is nice still looking forward to it though

he also warned me not to practise on x box and the like it tells u if a corner is left or right but does not help u (cough Bibbs Cough) on day he spent to months practosing croft on x box got there was nothing like it same lay out but not right
