sweet looks a lot like the veilside kit on my celica, any ideas on the gap on the rear bumper?

Posted

Very nice mate

i beat your happy :D

really not liking the rear, but i'm sure you'll figure something to do with it. i'd mesh the front-not only to sort of even it out so you can't see the innards of the car, but to protect the radiator.

NOW TAKE IT OFF AND PAINT IT!!!! nothing worse than a half-assed kitted car IMO!

Where's the rest of the rear bumper?

Cheers all,

In answer to some questions, the gap on the rear bumper is because i need to trim one of the pods for the exhaust as it exits partly into the pod.

The bumpers are off and were on for a total of one hour for full testing and photos.

The photos dont do the rear justice as it not only looks better in the flesh its also all going to be smoothed in so it should all look like a whole new bumper!

And Tim yes i am a tad happy as i really cant wait to get that kit on and sprayed!

What do you think do i need a new spoiler to make the back look a bit better im thinkin of maybe putting one of these on it?!?

Matt personally i'd smooth the boot recess and take the spoiler off completly think that would look cool and different

the smooth tailgate is somethin that is hopefully going to happen anyway as i havent seen it done on a paseo!! Cheers for the advice tho

starletsy. Still not sure about the spoilerless look, i dont know if im brave enough to do it yet as ive always been one for spoilers.

despoiler it, mine looked stacks better with the spoiler off, but didnt fill the holes and it came back from the spray shop so put it back on, if id kept it i think i would have taken it off, without a kit it needs a spoiler but with the kit it doesnt, the celi doesnt have a spoiler, well it does but im not syaing what kind....

so have u actually fitted a kit to your car?????? not every1 can afford to run 2 cars and to do a job right sometimes means that you have to fit the kit and then play with it, before u paint it, which takes time...

Thanks all,

I think i will have to seriously think about the despoilered look as it seems to be popular within TOC but i think i need to convince myself mainly. If anyone has despoilered pics please post to convince me! Cheers.

The kit is not fitted i dry fitted it to see if there was a lot of trimming needed and luckily there isn't although the front bumper is going to need some work to get is fitting perfectly.

I am going to get in touch with the company that i want to do the work and see what they say.

Will keep you all posted.
