Headunit Wires

Hi, does anyone know what the first connector from right (white 4 wire connector) is used in the standard headhunit.

Image of connector 1

Image of connector 2

I'm planning to hook up 2 rear Speakers to my head unit & trying to figure out where to connect the rear Speakers, this unit has 4 channels and already the front Speakers are wired (its not really the STANDARD head unit)

Head unit 1

Head unit 2

Thanks

to hook rear Speakers up just connect them to the front speaker wires which are in the back of the head unit.

It should be the middle block of wires and wires as following:

front right:

green - positive

blue - negative

front left:

pink - positive

purple - negative

find these wires in the back of the head unit, splice them and attach other Speakers to them ;)

Thanks breezer, the thing is my headunit can support 4 channels 2 front & 2 for back that can be controlled separately so hooking up the rear Speakers to front outlet would be... how shall I put this... waste of opportunity! (as I said it's not a standard headunit although its from toyota- a full height CD/MD/FM/AM player with DSP/surround & stuff)

well anyway I just pulled the thing apart since I last posted and connected a speaker (a thing destined for disposal) to check the white connector on the right side & sure enough it was for the rear speaker out

Any thoughts from anybody who has the same headunit

sorry about the broken links - Go Here & headunit picture is 121_2200

:bye:
