Wheel Stud Snapped

Hi all,

I've just snapped a wheel stud off the front wheel of my yts. (cue beating of the pavement with tyre-iron) Could any of you give a bit of advice on -

a) how safe it is to drive (6 miles to toyota garage & assume keeping below 40mph)

&

B) can you just replace the stud or is it a full new hub job?

the old stud is simply knocked out , they may take off the hub to do it , driving on 3 is perfectly safe , go slow if it concerns you.

Thanks for the advice. I was contemplating driving the wifes 1984 mini to work!! Don't think the back and knees would be up to that on a november morning!
