gt4 owners club turned up on my door step this week. :D nice to see all those gt4, pity they didnt open it up to toyota owners,

there was a couple there that no one was talking to <_< felt abit for them.

we join things like this to meet like minded people and when someone makes the effort you should talk to them me thinks.

Yeah. Think they`re a bit snobby like that. I`m a GT4OC member but i dont go to the meets. Might get my bum over to the TOC one at Rownhams this weekend though.

dunno who you spoke to, but 99% of our members are nice people, and not in the least snobby I hope. However the members know each oter pretty well generally as we have a lot of meets, so 'outsiders' have to make a little more effort to get a word in edgeways!

There seems to be some perception amongst celica owners that GT4 owners somehow feel superior cos their cars are faster, where tbh no such prejudice exists (in fact I think you can probably get more cash for your ST182 than an equivalent 185 nowadays, damn insurance companies making it too expensive to own a 4!). If anyone wants to come along ot any of our meets just register on www.gt4oc.net and say hi...

Sorry peeps that would be my fault for not posting here - to be honest I didn't realise that this forum existed and have only just found it whilst looking for info on headlight protectors for my new 205 GT4.

We are honestly NOT snobby or unfriendly and anyone who shares a likeing for cars (especially celica's) are always welcome to any of our meets . . .

As someone else has already said here - many of us have known each other for a number of years but we always welcome new people - indeed we had 3 or 4 newbies this time who I sincearly hope we will see again.

I will endeavour to let you know the next time I arrange a mini meet (we had 27 GT4's at out last mini meet so doing ok :) ) and you can come and join in the festivities :) apologies once again.
