hi there people, as you can see this is my first post, and i currently drive a rival brand car (honda crx mk2), i have also done a few searches before questions, so if i get anyones "back up" please bear with me. (the honda forum is so clicky!), right, my main questions were as follows,

what is the standard bhp for an ae 86

how much does a good condition ae86 cost

how much do spares cost?

are they really as fun as they look?

are there any special editions (just in case i find a rare one)

thats about it really, thanks in advance for your help, cheers, james.

Don't be concerned with saying what car you have if it's not a Toyota, at the end of the day we are all vehicle enthusiasts, so anything is of interest.

Honda CRX ...A very nice car, good choice.

AE86's are 122bhp in std form, a good Ae86 can cost from £4000 upwards! Even rusty ones go for this money now, unless you are very lucky and find one that the owner doesnt know its value! Like me, only paid £900 for mine, £600 for my first AE86! :)

But both of mine were 1 owner from new and they were quite old, and they didnt know what money they were going for!

Spares are very expensive but avaible!

They are fun after you spend about a £1000 on suspension, due to the std setup makes them handle like the biggest piece of crap ever!

Some people say that black ones were ltd edition, but im not to sure myself!

Good luck in your search! :)
