Power Lock Doesn't Unlock Passenger Side Door

1998 Toyota Camry V6 . 86,000 Miles.

I have a problem with power doors in my car. All the FOUR doors lock perfectly whether by a remote control or by pushing a lock button inside the car. When I press UNLOCK button I get the honk sounds and all the FOUR doors sounds they are unlocked but cannot open the PASSENGER SIDE DOOR from OUTSIDE. I have to get inside first on driver side and open the passenger side door manually using the inside handle.

Any ideas as to what is happening?

How can I proceed to fix it myself. By profession I am an Electrical Engineer but never tried the Auto electrical before. Is it a worth a try or leave it to the car mechanic to fix it? Thanx.

YOU COULD TAKE OFF THE DOOR PANEL , SIT INSIDE THE CAR AND WATCH HOW THE MECHANISM WORKS EITHER SIDE , AND SEE IF YOU CAN SEE THE OBVIOUS , MAYBE JUST A ROD HAS FALLEN OFF , HAVE TO HAVE A LOOK FIRST THOUGH
