New Ice Needed

I desperately want to improve the quality of the sound I'm getting from my ICE. I currently have what I believe is the standard speaker set up. There is a complete lack of any sort of bass. I was thinking of buying a sony XPLOD 12in sub already mounted in a box & with an Xplod 1200 watt amp for starters. Saw this for sale on eBay for £50. I'm not big on ICE so don't know if this would be any good. Any advice would be appreciated. Oh my head unit is a Kenwood MD.

the orignal system is totally :censor: , ive ripped all the Speakers out and replaced them with mb quarts 4" components, 6" kappa infinity rears and 2x 10" 1000watt subs in the boot. running all of them off two 600watt amps.

made it all stealth looking, if u fancy pics of my boot install p.m. me

p.s. tweeters are a :ffs: to get out.

baz

Sounds like you know what you're doing, unfortunately I don't so would have to pay someone to that sort of re-fit for me!! I'm guessing that wouldn't be cheap!?
