Fuel Warning Light

I own a 2001 avensis 1.8 vvti and the fuel tank holds 60 ltrs when full. When the fuel warning light comes on..can anyone tell me how much fuel remains. I can't find any reference to this in the user guides.

Best thing to do is check your "RANGE" in fuel computor when light comes on.

It will tell you how many miles left in tank & if you are averaging 35mpg & Range states 40 miles, you then know you have just over a gallon.

Last time I checked mine, I worked out that I had 2 gallon left when light came on.

if you have gps navi system it tells u how many miles you have left

Yeah, I think it's 10 liters. Then it can be illuminated when the car is in a hill or when you brake or accelerate (one of them...), or turn.
