Tems Shocker Replacement

Hi,

I phoned Fensport yesterday about replacing the front shocks with some KYB units as the original ones are well gone. The guy said that they won't be compatible with TEMS which is fair enough, apparently the TEMS compatible shocks cost an arm and a leg.

My question is if I wanted to fit the KYB shocks, is it easy to do? And do I just disconnect the TEMS electrics?

I refuse to allow a post to go unanswered. maybe some folks arent up to speed and dont know what yer on about. well I do, hee hee.

well i suspose you could disconnect it and fit KYB but that would do away with your spec. its very rare, very rare indeed. think wether or not you want to keep that side of it stock. if you dont mind and arent bothered about the resale value, i would fit cheaper kits and disconnect it.

It is very rare yes which is the problem, and Toyota charge accordingley £800 has been mentioned to me! Which is probably half the value of the car (at best).

Anybody know of any other suppliers of TEMS shockers?
