cathodes are brighter, but fragile.

cathodes run at 650V

neons run at 750V

neons give a better blue light

cathodes are cheaper

iv used both and cathodes suck!! mine were dim as hell and broke easily!

Becuase you didnt connect them right and/or you had some crap ones..

The ones i have are well bright, compared to the neons i had before...

I have to agree with moffmo, the L.E.D's i have are really bright, the only think that i dont like about them is when a L.E.D blows the look abit stupid.

But apart from that they are sound.

hello there tom managed to get back on then, cathodes are brighter but depending on where u want them makes a big difference i had blue neons in footwells which were plenty bright enough i reckon cathodes would bit too bright but all personal preference on that one really,

i connected them the right way!! considerin they pluged into cig lighter :S all i hadta do was a fit a fuse!

the fact they were pluged into a cig lighter means that it cant have been a cathode...

Hi all

well I had the choice of both at the weekend but in the end went for the cathodes.

Really impressed wiv how they look.

ill get sum pics tonite (i hope) and get them posted soon as...

also they look great compared to the neons my cousin has in his corsa :ffs:
