Camry Evaproative Emmissions Problem

The other day my check engine light appeared on my 1999 camry, 4cyl.

I ran the diagnostics on it and it gave the code #90910 - 12271 and 25852- 20010. No one was really sure what the issue was other than it had something to do with the evaproative emmissions system. I have had the vacume switching valve replaced which was part for #90910 - 12271. Unfortunatly the light is still on. So i was wondering if any one else has had this issue or knows what part the other code stands for ( 25852 - 20010 )? Thanks for your help...

My check engine light was off and on for two years (was told ok to continue to drive) the last year stayed on and never went off anymore. In Tenn. you can not get car tags renewed if check engine light is on. Need my by the end of Nov. Two weeks ago took to local mechanic, had code P0449. They said I too needed the VSV (vacuum switching valve) replaced. That was done. Check engine light came on within 4 miles of that service. Two days ago, took to local dealer, same code P0449 was still showing, dealer replaced the charcoal cannister. Check engine light came back on within 40 miles of that service. Have taken it back to the dealer this morning, awaiting their phone call. I know this is no help to the codes you're asking about, but would also like any input from anyone that can help. Also, if you read on the net, tons of people are inquiring about problems with check engine lights - Is this all a big scam for the dealers to make more money? Feedback appreciated...

It sounds like we might be having similar problems though we are pulling up different codes. Its unfortunate that the computer will tell you something is wrong, but it cannot tell you what specific part, that to me sounds like the scam. Let me know what they replace on yours and if it does any good, thanks.
