Changing Coolant

Hello,

Was wondering if anybody knew the correct way to drain all of the coolant from the engine block and associated pipes on a 1997 Starlet Xli 1332cc non-turbo. I have tried by just taking off the bottom radiator hose, but on refill I was left with two litres of coolant out of the four which should have gone in, there was still coolant in there somewhere. I had the radiator cap off at the time.

Is there an engine block drain plug?
