hey guys seen this done on a diff forum with a diff car so thote post it here and see wat inda results id get seen as tho havnt took the sr for a 'proper blast' (not as if there is much to blast with the 1.3 lol) so jus wanna kno really what cars have you lot raced at traffic lites etc and left standing.....

Try Pug 1.4 quiksilver, havent proper raced any cars before, because i know i cant... lol.

Try Nova 1.2s.... or saxo 1.1s....

I got a cousin that played with the SR with the saxo VTR on bendy roads, the SR can keep up with it but not on straight roads...

But the 1st and 2nd gear the SR is quick because it is light weight, i was infront of my mates VTi civic for those first 2 gears... we was only racing for fun, but i couldnt keep up...

kept up with a saxo vtr,

astra 1.4,

astra 1.7 tdi,

new corsa 1.7 tdi,

corsa 1.2 1.4 sport/sxi,

mk2 golf 1.3,

ford orion 1.4,

ford escort 1.4,

ford focus 1.4 zetec,

just don't try and race any nova's if you have a heavy system in the boot... i got beaten on a 0-30 race.

1.3 swift,not gti. 1.4 corolla,1.4 astra,1.4 106,1.4 reno5,1.4 bravo.id like 2 add that i was runnin on 17s,most of these cars were not :D

When I had my SR basically everything with a 1.4 engine or under could be beaten. the challange is to take on the 1.5's and 1.6's i.e civics + saxos once you beat them you can command respect for your 1.3. Saxos are tough though as there quick in a straight but it should be no problem in an SR round bends

Road racing is

1. Illegal

2. Dangerous

3. Not the kind of thing we want to promote.

Real racers don't do it on the road, get on a track and do it proper.
