Picture the scene, driving along a motorway in my CTS good tunes helping pass the time on the tedious motorways, next my CD player cuts out display blnk (no lights in the night time) no music no radio dead, turning the power button on and off franticly still no help, display comes on dimly and raio is all hiss and crackles.

Finaly i a m resolved to turning the ignition on and off whilst driving ( not too smrt i know) as the CD refuses to eject, sometimes this works but takes a while for the unit to loose power, finaly CD ejects with error code on display CDErr3, such a nightmare, have to say these are all clean original CD's that are causing the problem.

Any one had similar problems??
