yipeeeeee! i now have my new starlet s. its a bit quicker than mums 1l corsa that im used to and it kept up with jim when he was on high boost on the way home!! would have beat him if he hadnt been in the way!! pics soon :D

hmm yeah it looks a bit different now with the alloys on. the steels were horrible with plastic trims held on with cable ties! luckily my alloys were in jims garage collecting dust so its good theyre being used again. notice the sparkly gear knob too?

hmm i origionally bought the alloys to go on jims honda prelude but they came off when he sold it to get the glanza. theyre huge compared to the 13" that were on it when we picked it up yesterday! dont worry the clear front repeaters were ordered last week so should be here one day soon

the pic of my engine bay is now out of date due to todays activities. not got a pic yet but will have soon i hope. we removed the air box and fitted a ram air filter in its place. a few bits out of jims old prelude also helped like an angled piece of plastic pipe and a few surplus brackets! i also started to clean my already fairly spotless engine bay but i think cleaning the rocker cover will take a while. luckily dave (black pulsar) has a dremmel that may come in handy when polishing the fiddly bits.

a final adjustment was adding a sticker to the back window of jap n crazy which is a forum for anyone who owns a jap car. check it out at www.jap-n-crazy.co.uk

your doing well out of my old prelude darlin care to try your luck with the strut brace or have the exhaust re shaped to fit (now there is an idea) :D

maybe but i think the lude was a bit wider than my little baby so probably wont fit. but the exhaust now thats a different matter; phil will easily make it fit then i will have a nice shiney 4" powerflow jap styley pipe!!

i will see what you have done when you pick me up wednesday!!

Good good, they'll make such a difference on a white car. Better than the great big orange repeaters . Go to your local exhaust place & MAKE THEM weld the exhaust on

4inch straight though, or only the output pipe right? Because 4inch is crazy straight throught, I don't see how that could keep up with a 4efte powered machine on high boost. very very unlikely.
