Addapting Rev 2 Wirring Loom

Alright I want to J-spec my rear lights, basically meaning I want all 4 of the Tail lights to come on.

I know you have have to use the Rev 2 wirring loom, but as I have no electrical skill whatsoever, does anyone have any instruction on how to do it.

Also my foglight is in the inner right one, will this have to be re-located or can I just have the brake lights on the outer.

thanks in advance

stu.

I'd have thought that lighting up all four as normal lights is reasonably easy as long as you only want one per side to light with braking and one per side as fogs. You should be able to do this with duel fillament lights like the brake light would be (I assume, not looked at how MR2 lights light up)

Having all four light up on braking would require a seperate fog I'd guess.

I's something I am thinking about doing when I get my 2, may well do the round light conversion at the same time.

When we got our lights from Rogue sys the other week the wiring had already been done  we have 4 brake lights & 4 back lights, just had to refit a fog light.. :D

Fitz, the rev 3 wirring loom doesnt have any connections for the inner lights. Thats why I've put the foglight in their.

I'm not going to re-locate my foglight, as I'll like to keep the euro look. :)

Our rev 4 had the inner two lamps wired as foglamps with higher wattage bulbs. I fitted dual filament lampholders (from any Toyota stop/tail) and wired the side light across from the outers so we had 4 taillamps. I then wired a 5 amp diode from the outer brakelamps to the inner ones (having connected the two inners together). I also wired a 5 amp diode in the line from the rear fog lamp switch to the inner brakelamps.

When we brake all 4 lamps light brightly, when rear fogs are on the two inners are on all the time and the two outers act as brakelights.
