maybe an option for UK cars ;)

May have been the last of the fe's and they tarted it up to flog it on ?

Nah, I mean the stock rev5 got nicer spoilers and wheels at the end, to flog them on.

The last of the line usually is the all singing all dancing one.

mine has spots,rev2 front lip(rubber thing on bumper), rev 3 type spoiler (mount pillars more in the middle) and the short gearstick, not the long one like a rev1.

Also has 15" wheels on it and bigger brakes than a rev 1.........hhhmmm

iam baffled!! lol

so where does it fall under??

They did do a rev 2 version with deep front splitter and 15" wheels. I think they all had sun(moon)roofs. As standard they didn't have front fogs or rear spoiler. Cloth interior. Lots of owners had the spoiler fitted. The main differences in the engine is the flatter angle head and dished pistons. The engine is an economy motor but has very respectable torque figures. It's rare to have the front fogs but they could be had as an option, like the spoiler. To get the engine to 3S-GE spec I'm thinking its a piston and head swap, but I don't know if you'd need to swap the ECU.

With respect, how do you know the spoiler was standard? The car must be at least 13 years old. It is possible it was added by a previous owner, unless you know all the history of the car.

I'm not trying to doubt but I see people say the same thing about 10 year old cars that they owned for 3 months and have had 7 different owners.
