At the moment i have cut away the front bumper to allow for the intercooler to get more air, this is yet to be fibreglasset to create a lip arount the cut away to give it some depth. also the emblem on the front of the bumper is going to smothed over, in the photo i have just covred it with black tape to see what it will look like.

this should be being done this weekend!

i want to get some diff suspension, at the moment i am just running pi -40mm springs which to be honest are abit *****!!!! thinking maybe koni adjustables?

let mw know what you think

very nice,

aint ure exhaust straight through,

was talking to the guy (simon) about cats and he says every car must have one, no matter what, even if its a import,

he said that the intercooler was a !Removed! to do on your car, he doesnt like doing much apart from exhaust does he,

how much was the intercooler, piping and power intake???

your car, its really is a weapon.. id love to be drving that thing..total stealth mode.

how quick has the engine made your car compared to other cars

i fitted a pre produciton STI anti lift/castor kit to my starlet on mondday.

what a difference it made to the handling of my car..

it acts as a sort of primitive diff by increasing the castor..also increasing the wheel base by 10mm

you now know exactly what the front end of the car is doing..confidence inspireing..

makes the car feal asif its on is toes...nice and nimble.

thats an EP82 engine, although the EP91 is virtually the same to look at.

Thats a good looking car there. It doesn't need a bodykit. Just get a number plate made up as a sticker and put on nose or front splitter. Would be a shame to ruin the looks with a conventional plate.

Spend what you save on the bodykit on some nice front seats.

That looks wicked. I so want it done to mine!!

Roughly how much do you think JB would charge if you just dumped the car with them for the whole process?

Any problems with rigidity when you cut the front bumper like that? Also are those JDM-spec rear clusters or have you just sprayed them like mine? :)

Look at the engine bay. There are three thin metal parallel pipes on the LHS - this is a feature of the EP82. The EP91 doesn't have this arrangement.

Hi thanks for all your comments. Yea the car is very quick for a paseo, does feal sometimes like it shouldnt have that much power. Quite skatey under acceleration now.

It has made alot of diffrence now the HKS PFC F-CON is fitted with the fuel cut defender. Its boosting to 14psi and the power kicks in straight away!

Im not really sure on how much the conversion has cost all together but i would imagine around the £4500 to £5000 mark with all of my mods!

I dont know if jb would do a conversion or how much it would be as i fitted the engine myself and just had jb do the wiring as a new loom had to be made for this car. Not the same as the gen1 paseo which is just two extra wires.

Yep the exhaust is straight through with no cat and no boxes apart from the rear can which is also straight through.

A car with no cat after 1992 will fail an mot but with this engine the cat is the down pipe, so for an mot i will just swap them back over.

The intercooler cast me £280 the pipework for the intercooler was £550 inc vat and the Apexi intake was a bargain of eBay for £46 inc delevary from jap land!

The front bumper is fine not really flexing anymore that standard. And yea thats wot i thought very S2000! which is a good thing!!!

Oh yea and andrew is right it is an ep82 (1993)

One more mate, what is this: "HKS PFC F-CON " and what does it do!! Also did you say your piping cost 550 pounds!?! Im gettig a fmic, is it gonna cost that much???

Did you also spend 4500? Im roughly spending 1300 for conversion, 300 fmic, 100 fcd, 100 rrfpr and exhaust which is 300 and 1000 labour, thats 3100. What other costs will i incur??? tobs
